As an ADHDer, I really relate to the chaotic/improvising "What could I use from what I already have around to create this thing that I don't even know exactly what it will be" process of creation, and it's awesome to see you completing the projects to the end. It makes me feel like I can get to the end of my projects as well, and I don't feel so frustrated with myself. I'm glad you had the strength to stop. A lot of folks would have pushed themselves because of the algorithm or because they were worried about disappointing people. Those of us that love the things you do want you to take as long as you need, and for you to relax and make something fun for yourself.

I don't know if you intended it to be like this but the esthetic resembles Fallout show esthetic (at least for the good portions of it) - space-style vault life preservation ;) and the color is just on point!

Monstera Monstera plants thrive in bright, indirect sunlight. They can tolerate some direct sunlight but should be shielded from harsh afternoon rays The monstera plant requires moderate levels of watering. Always assess your plants watering needs first before giving it a drink. You can do this by poking your finger in the soil to assess its dryness level. If the soil is dry to a depth of one to two inches, then go ahead and give it a drink. fun stuff laura i hope the info helps

Serious requests for modification! I love the aesthetics and concept! So hide the pump and hoses inside the cover! And also add a fill port on top so you don’t have to remove the plant to refill!

Anyone who does project this big. Would burn out on this. It okay to take brake. I have been working on my backyard for over two years. It can be a lot. Pretty normal to feel this way.

Hi from Canada 🙂If you drill holes into the bottom of your egg planter and put a piece of landscaping cloth over the holes on the inside of the egg then the dirt will not fall out through the holes but all extra water/fertilizer will drip back into the base - so your plant will not drown or get root rot - even if the pump stays on a bit too long! I sort of worry about electrolysis damaging your egg -- especially with the salts in fertilizer - spraying the inside with a sealer of some sort might keep the aluminum from damaging the plant and vice versa also! Good JOB and good luck in your life 🙂

En plus d'un tuteur pour la plante, je suggère de faire un trou dans "l'oeuf" juste sous la plaque; comme ça si la pompe s'emballe, l'eau ne débordera pas mais retournera dans le réservoir :) Bien joué en tout cas, ce projet est super! (Et la caméra E.T. adorable!)

Add a water level float so you can see how much water is in the tank just from a float bob that sticks up through the plate with markers for the cm of water left.

The box and pot were so aesthetically pleasing but the pump spoils it. It seems unfinished
